Laundry Care Policy

This policy explains how Tolrant handles garments, special-care items, and claims.

Last updated: July 10, 2026

Standard wash-and-fold service

Unless otherwise requested and accepted, Tolrant provides normal machine wash, machine dry, and fold service for everyday washable clothing and household laundry.

Customer care instructions

  • Identify items that require cold water, air drying, gentle handling, or separate washing.
  • Remove items that should not be machine washed or machine dried.
  • Empty all pockets before pickup.
  • Secure loose straps, hooks, zippers, and accessories when possible.
  • Do not submit valuable, irreplaceable, antique, or sentimental garments without accepting the associated risk.

Normal wear and pre-existing damage

Tolrant is not responsible for ordinary wear, fading, shrinkage, color loss, loose stitching, weak fabric, damaged fasteners, or pre-existing defects that become visible during normal cleaning.

Stains

Tolrant does not guarantee removal of every stain. Aggressive stain treatment may damage fabric, so treatment may be limited when the risk outweighs the likely result.

Items we may refuse

  • Items contaminated with bodily fluids, chemicals, oil, pests, mold, or hazardous materials.
  • Items containing needles, sharp objects, illegal substances, or dangerous materials.
  • Dry-clean-only garments unless that service is specifically offered.
  • Extremely delicate, damaged, or high-value items.
  • Oversized or specialty items not accepted during booking.

Missing or damaged item reports

Customers should inspect their returned order promptly and report concerns within 24 hours of delivery whenever possible.

Reports should include the order number, item description, photographs, approximate purchase date, and original value when available.

Claim review

Tolrant will investigate claims using order records, photographs, partner information, and other available evidence.

Reimbursement, when approved, may account for age, condition, depreciation, proof of value, and applicable limits.
